Welcome to Project Unredacted. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Project Unredacted mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using our Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

To maintain a respectful and engaging community, you agree to follow these guidelines when participating in discussions:

Encouraged Behavior

• Share thoughtful theories and analysis backed by evidence from the case files
• Engage respectfully with other investigators, even when you disagree
• Report content that violates these guidelines
• Keep discussions relevant to the case being investigated

Prohibited Content

You may not post content that:

• Harasses or bullies: Personal attacks, threats, intimidation, or targeting of individuals
• Contains hate speech: Content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Is spam or self-promotion: Repetitive content, advertisements, or promotional material unrelated to the discussion
• Shares personal information: Posting private information about yourself or others (doxxing)
• Is illegal: Content that violates any applicable laws or encourages illegal activity
• Is off-topic: Content completely unrelated to the case or investigation being discussed
• Impersonates others: Pretending to be another user, public figure, or official source
• Contains graphic content: Excessively violent, disturbing, or explicit material

Moderation and Enforcement

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these guidelines. Violations may result in:

• Removal of the offending content
• Temporary suspension of commenting privileges
• Permanent account termination for severe or repeated violations

If you believe content violates these guidelines, please use the in-app report feature. We review all reports and take appropriate action.

PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Some features of the Service may require payment. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. By making a purchase, you agree to:

• Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases
• Provide accurate payment information
• Pay all charges at the prices in effect when incurred

Refund requests should be directed to Apple through the App Store, as they handle all payment processing for iOS apps.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Project Unredacted and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from our apps
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from our content

Limited use of our content for personal, non-commercial purposes (such as sharing case links on social media) is permitted with proper attribution.

USER CONDUCT

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit harmful code, spam, or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Project Unredacted regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
